Indoor Football returns to Enid
Indoor Football Returns to Oklahoma with Announcement of New Team, Schedule
ENID, OKLAHOMA (Nov. 5, 2018) – For the first time since 2014, Oklahoma will welcome back semi-professional indoor football with the announcement of the new Oklahoma Flying Aces. Wearing blue, gold and black, the Flying Aces will be Oklahoma’s only active indoor football team with their inaugural season beginning in March 2019.
The Flying Aces will participate in the Champions Indoor Football league and games will be played in the Central National Bank Center in downtown Enid. Season tickets begin at $72 and can be purchased online at oklahomaindoorfootball.com.
The team’s name and colors were chosen by the public earlier this year through a contest where fans submitted suggestions. The winner of the contest will receive a pair of season tickets and a t-shirt commemorating the team’s inaugural season.
“We’re so pleased we are able to call Enid home to Oklahoma’s only active indoor football team,” said Marcy Jarrett, director of Visit Enid. “They’ll be playing at a great venue and games are sure to be fun for football fans of all ages. We look forward to welcoming people from across the state joining us as we cheer on the Flying Aces.”
