Charlie Chaplin's first two silent films for First National Pictures, A Dog's Life and Shoulder Arms, will be accompanied by the Enid Symphony Orchestra on October 5-6 at the Enid Symphony Center. In A Dog's Life, Charlie rescues a stray from other dogs, and together they meet Edna after finding a wallet full of cash. In Shoulder Arms, Charlie is a boot-camp private with a dream of becoming a hero who goes on a daring mission. The ESO will perform the original Chaplin score while the films are shown on the stage. Show times are 7 pm Saturday and 2 pm Sunday. Tickets range from $15 to $70 and are available at EnidSymphony.org or at the Symphony box office.
