Charla Enns and Jena Kodesh are artists and art teachers who are both married to farmers. They share many commonalities including a strong love for the land, and particularly their native land of Oklahoma. They both appreciate what it gives back to them now and what it provided their ancestors.
Oklahoma celebrated 110 years of statehood in 2017. This art show will host some traditional art and subject matter as well as displaying a contemporary twist on traditional thought. Oklahoma grows and matures as does the artist's work continues to change. Their work complements each other within a variety of media; Enns enjoys painting in pastel and acrylic while Kodesh prefers painting with watercolor and oils.
This exhibit can be seen during regular hours and admission to the museum.
