Don’t miss “Duo Romantique,” featuring violinist Aaron and harpist Chelsea Bushong, in a whimsical hour of beautiful music presented with comedic flair.
The partners of Edward Jones have joined forces with the Enid Symphony Orchestra to present the HARVEST WINE Series. Four Harvest Wine concerts will feature light musical fare preceded by a wine social. Performances will be presented on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in Joan Allen Symphony Hall at the Enid Symphony Center. A one-half hour wine social in Eleanor Hornbaker Banquet Hall will begin at 6:30 pm preceding each event. Admission is $10 at the door.
Chelsea and Aaron Bushong have been performing with their violin and harp duet for over 10 years. They began at Oklahoma City University, where they met and fell in love. Duo Romantique was formed out of their passion for music with strings attached! Chelsea grew up in Edmond and began playing piano at a young age, but quickly moved to playing the harp as soon as she was ready. Aaron grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he began playing piano and viola early on. He continued as a violist until he realized that he needed to do something serious with his life, but quickly decided against being serious and continued with the silly and fanciful dream of a musicians life by picking up the violin. Both Aaron and Chelsea have enhanced their life of performance by jumping on the theatrical stage with improvisational comedy. They are excited for the Harvest Wine Series, where they will be venturing into a fun and comedic musical performance, with the hope that everyone has enough to drink!
