The Red Dust Poetry Exhibit is now open at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center. The new exhibit will be open through January 18, 2020, with a special reception and exhibit viewing on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 4-7 pm.
The exhibit is on loan from the University of Oklahoma’s Wester History Collection, and features the work of Oklahoma poets exploring Oklahoma history from the late 19th century through World War II. Artifacts from the collection of the Heritage Center are on display to supplement the poetry. Dr. M. Todd Fuller and Dr. Crag A. Hill from the University of Oklahoma, who developed and researched the exhibit, will be at the exhibit reception on December 3.
