Painted Plains

Location
alley behind Panevino Wine & Tapas, 124 W Randolph

In 2017, PaneVino Wine & Steak presented at Main Street Enid's Food for Thought event and won funds to help pay for an alley mural on their building. Restaurant owner Mickey De La Cruz commissioned the project to beautify Enid's downtown alleyways. Oklahoma City street artist Jason Pawley was tasked with creating this colorful two-story mural. Painted Plains features a cheerful design that signifies Oklahoma's radiantly colored sunsets and wildflowers. Using aerosol and acrylic paint, Pawley contiguously placed his signature soft, organic nature-based shapes to create vibrant illustrations. Wine hues were utilized as a nod to the wine bar inside the restaurant.
